Good game, though the last 10/15 minutes were a little anti-climatic. Italy looks the strongest team and it seems that Zidane's adrenalin in the games against Spain and Brazil is not there (despite the class penalty of course). Gattuso has been a giant marking him, and overall the italian players look a little more fresh and less nervous (Abidal anyone...). They are pressing hard deep into the french are of construction, but otoh Totti and Toni look a bit isolated as well.

Btw, who'd have said that with 45 minutes to go in this WC, and with Italy in the final, Matterazzi would be by now the team's top joint goalscorer.

Yeah, the contol of the game switched, and if France had scored a winner, it would have been deserved. Zidane came up rejuvenated, while, eg, Zambrotta and Gattuso look exhausted. And they have made all their substitutiuons, so if they have yet something, they'll have to show it soon...
