With the previous playthrough having been ruined by too much of a focus on religion (which turned out to be terrible), we decided to start again with Germany.
Having become quite enamoured with the district system of Civilization VI, I decided to pick a nation which uses them quite heavily; Germany. Their national bonus is that they can build one additional district in their cities. Further, their national building is the Hansa which replaces the Industrial Zone. As a replacer, this building doesn't take up a district slot either, thereby essentially allowing them to have 2 additional districts in their cities!
Barbarossa's special is an additional military policy slot for his governments, and a combat bonus against City States, basically guaranteeing a more aggressive, militaristic game.
Nation - Germany
Leader - Barbarossa
Difficulty - Emperor
Patch - Current
Mods - None
Map - Continents, Standard
Speed - Standard
Settings - Default
