How can you get the icons we use here (animations and all) to show up in sent e-mails?

Yes you can. I'm using Outlook too. Not Express, the real Outlook that comes with Office 2000. Here are the instructions:
switch your email to html format.
copy and save the CFC smilies as gif file on your HD.
then choose insert picture and here you are. If they are not transparent in background, just use pain shop pro to make them transparent.

You have to make sure the recipent can accept HTML e-mails.

there is a fun e-mailer called incredimail available a download.com.
Smileys,sounds,backgrounds,blah blah at the click of a mouse plus all the normal features of outlook.No problems integrating for me with XP and Norton.
