Just wanted to share one solution to this little error. I came across it when installing the beta version of Ashes of Erebus
The official version worked fine but there was a lot of new content I wanted to see.
Turns out this error pops up if the Ashes of Erebus mod folder is renamed to any other name.
For those that are not SVN savvy like myself and download the beta version using the create snapshot option from the SVN at https://sourceforge.net/p/ashesoferebus/code/HEAD/tree/
The mod folder once downloaded is automatically named something like this ashesoferebus-code-r343
If the folder name is not changed it causes the GFC error.
When I renamed the folder "Ashes of Erebus" as in the official release version everything worked.
