You are meant to upload the save to pbemtracker, which will automatically:

1) email the save to the next player
2) hold it so it can anyway be downloaded manually if the email fails..

2020 is more realistic! We actually aren't moving too bad considering we are on our third replacement player within the first 20 turns And eventually some of us will get killed and things will speed up... its only a matter of time.

I got two saves, one at 11:55 and then another at 12:05. I will be playing the 12:05 version in about 4 to 5 hours from now unless I hear otherwise.

Also, Mitiu Ioen you are set up in PBEM tracker, hopefully everything works correctly. i'll keep an eye on everything (as usual) to make sure we don't have delays...

So what about in-game chat now? It seems that at least I and Nighthawk are able to communicate with it, but we only can see each other´s messages in the log.

I would keep most in game chat to this thread or the story thread or PMs since its hard to see in-game unless you specifically look for it. I'm sure everyone else can see the messages too, they just haven't opened up the chat log.

I agree with Nighthawk on messages but I don't think others can see a 1 to 1 message. The fact is that most players don't use the in-game chat and are not used to checking it and if you've sent something important the chances it is missed is most likely.

I used it on 2 players I've met in game just to say "Greetings" neither were responded to.
Although I'd like to note that one of these players have one of my units near his area. Rest assured to this unnamed player that I am merely uncovering the blackness

FYI:
I did look at the chat log and I never do. Imp K and Night had messages posted and I had not met them. It is for chatting when all are on line. With us of course that could never happen, not without much planning.

Guys - the chat log works but there are a couple of things to keep in mind ...

• you can chat to all or you can chat to one other player
• it doesn't automatically come up so you have to remember to check it
• a chat started through a trade screen does automatically come up - you could use this to say 'check the chat log'
• if you use the trade screen, you have to remember to hit enter / press the send key or you are just chatting to yourself

Ruff is right - we dont all need to be online to use the in-game chat log, however you do need to specifically pull it up. You can chat to all or to one specific player at any time and as long as they check it, they can read it, whether you have met them or not.

At the end of the day though - its better to use email/PMs/this thread if you want to communicate, you are more likely to get a response.
