I found this and i thought i'd is really cool

http://flood.firetree.net/

Basically you can go to anywhere in the world and rise the global sea level by how ever much you want and see what happens!

Post any area's that you were really shocked/surprised about. :)

I wish all of Florida would sink.

In some areas, it goes about 20 feet inland. In others, it goes 100 miles inland.

Whoa check out the inland sea in California. The future "Sea of Sacramento!"

@ Choxorn

greatest example of that would be the Caspian Sea which wouldn't have grown in the first place. The author said here that he can't control some aspects of the map. (such as inland sea's and lakes)

I'm in the clear! No sea level rise for my apartment!

Would be pretty cool if they did the reverse too.

Where I am is OK, I'm about as far inland as you can get in the UK. I will however be much closer to the sea with only a small rise in sea level as the water will quickly overcome the defenses and reclaim back The Wash. At only low level rises it is likely to create miles and miles of salt marsh, but would soon flood completely all the way to near Cambridge. Areas around the rivers that flow into The Wash such as the Great Ouse in Bedford (about 10 miles north of me) would probably also be flooded as a result, but you can't see that on the map.

:( My seaside property will be reduced to zero value

Normally, if I want to move across a country, I sell my current house and use the money to buy my next house. And here I'll have to move, but my previous house will be worth zero :(

I don't know how accurate this map got, but my house if clear up to 14m (or more, 14 is as high as it went) but the main part of my town will be underwater.

There is a river that goes up through my town that floods pretty bad every few years. In 2006, the governor recognized a state of emergency here because it was flooded so bad.

Cape Cod doesn't get thoroughly destroyed like I thought it would... granted, still not the best place to be...

Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket both get owned, though.

How high are the oceans estimated to rise in our lifetimes?

With 14 meters I am a-OK! And the beach gets closer! Yay! And anyone notice the big lake in Egypt?

That would actually be connected to the ocean through a long strait.

A big part of England gets wiped out - is it the fens?

And say goodbye to Bangladesh.
