i´m right now working with a scenario called "globaliserung". it´s quite different then other scenarios because it´s about the globalism and starts when the soviet union falls and the cold war ends (jan 1990 is the start date, does anyone know a better start date?). the idea with this scenario is that you with diplomats, called business men and politicans, shall conquer the world by bribing. the civs are: the former sovietians, the japanese, the western europeans, the third world, the americans, the communists and the arabs.
now, i have two questions.
first, who should be the leader for the third world?
next question is, i´ve set tech stolen i all cities, but should i leave settlers and engineers out side the game to prevent them from building new cities or is there a better way to prevent techs from be stolen?

btw, republic is called capitalism and only the barbarians have democracy.

YIKES! This sounds pretty badly like my scenario:'The year 2001'
(Which I'm needing help, btw, in http://forums.civfanatics.com/Forum4/HTML/000315.html
Except in my scen. the communists are Rich neutrals, and they're defitenitly
Capitalist pigs! Is there usually large amounts of this-kind of scenarios,
or is this just a unbeliavable coincidence?!
(EDIT: Darn those adress-links!)

well, don´t worry. i think that my scenario is still quit different. there is only one unit that can take cities by force, refugges(and they can´t be built, they only pop up when a city is taken like partisans but they are very weak). it´s a bit cynical scenario and contains sweatshops, child labour, border control stations, porn industries... wonders like the golden triangle, wto, eu, nato, opec and the gulf war...
the americans is the best civ, but they got big pollution problems.

btw, is there a way to get a civ losing money by editing the events? the third world must pay off their loans.

Yep, you can use a change money event to simulate this.
