Glory In the Sun

We were unaware that the Russians have been claiming that we have any form of alliance. The only recent diplomatic conversations between us and them led to nothing but a mutual agreement that peace shall reign in Eastern Europe, at least for the foreseeable future. Germany does not have, and is not interested in any sort of Political Alliance with Russia.

You seem to of gone mad. We fully respect Portugal's position, (seeing that Britain has taken none yet.) any sort of aggression on China's part may only lead to your nation plummeting further into the pit it's already in.

Russia has not made such a claim, merely mentioned the expanded peace treaty and trade agreement and hinted at the hope of something more later (that's why it was in a parenthesis). However, we apologize for getting ahead of ourselves to any degree.

The German Empire is pleased to announce Spain's admission into the Triple Alliance, henceforth to be known as the Quadruple Alliance. That being said any attacks on Spain are to be considered attacks on Germany, Austria and Italy, while any attack on a previous member nation is to also be considered an attack on Spain.

We would like to bring up the issue of the colonies of Macau and Hong Kong. For decades, you have been occupying these cities. We have fought about them, but yet they are still not with the Chinese. We are offering a price of 12 EP each for each colony. If a sudden buy-out seems too rapid, we are willing to work out a time frame for a transfer of them to us.

We are unwilling to sell Hong Kong at this time, or in the foreseeable future, it being to valuable of a colony.

I will take Sweden.

@ZeletDude
I think you left a few stats blank for Portugal.

Claiming Perisa!

We are interested in starting an alliance between our nations. But we also want to make a deal with you. We have oil, you have the technology to drill the oil we have. Therefor we propose that in exchange for selling us machinery and technology to drill the oil supply we will pay you a percentage (33% ideal) of any profits we make from oil.

We wonder why the Shah seeks an alliance with a nation so far away, and with so little contact with Persia. We would also like to point out that no significant source of oil has been discovered in Persia, so your plan seems rather odd.

However, the United Kingdoms is willing to extend friendship towards Persia in place of Denmark, being a much closer and convenient ally. Also, while no oil has been discovered in Persia, we are sure that some British entrepreneurs would be willing to prospect for oil, should you be willing to give them concessions, which we can negotiate in private.

We are also. What exactly did Japan have in mind?

To: Japan
From: Perisa

We also want to improve relations with your nation. But like Germany said what are you exactly proposing? (I know Persia isn't in Europe but we still want to be on good terms with the Japanese).

We see that you are looking for better relations with European powers, but seemed to of skipped over us. We'd be happy to become closer to the Persian people.

Dropping the Netherlands. Too many NESes for me atm, maybe later Zelet, when my term paper is done. Sorry :(

At the moment Japan proposes to increase trade in the region as long as nations are open to accepting Japanese imports as well as exporting to Japan.

That sounds fine.

We would be happy to but we first need to know like what you had in mind.
