Hi
Correct me please, if i am wrong, but within the Graphs the second one "GNP(Gold)" is the amount that can be divided between research, culture and espionage (and the remaining will be kept as "Taxes"), right? So lets say my graph is the "highest", and my research rate is 100%, than i can be sure, that i am researching the fastest, am i right?
Just for example if there is an another country, whose GNP graph is exactly on the same level as mine, and if my research rate is set to 100%, while his rate is set to 50%, then my research speed is exactly twice as fast as his?
In my current game the GNP of Rome is at about half of mine, and he just started researching a new tech and needs 22 turns to complete, while for me it would take 25 turns with my current research rate of 95%? How can he reseach faster than me with a way lower GNP?
Or am i wrong about understanding this?
