New to Civ IV, but a real expert to Civ III.
1. Gold: The best way of learning how to play is with cheats.......to me anyways, that was the way I became a real good Player with Civ III today. Now I bought Civ IV and somehow I don't quite understand how to make enough gold to sustain all my cities. I tried with trainers I found on the Net (they didn't work) nor do I understand to open the cheatwindow ingame (I know you need to hit the funny snakelike key on the keyboard to open the cheatwindow, but I don't seem to have it on mine -french keyboard)
Now what I am asking , is there a savedgame program so we can change our gold and other things like we have for the Civ III and where can I find it? I searched this site, but man, after one hour of going through everything it has to offer, I started seeing double and triple.....
If not, is there an easy way to add a few golds to my civ? (whether new or saved game)
2. Version: How in the world does one find out what version your game is? Is it written somewhere?
