Heart's version of Led Zeppelin's Rock and Roll

Not as good as the original, but still pretty passable.

Paint it Black gets covered a lot. Here's a couple more decent takes:

Garbage released a new album about a week ago.

The extra CD has Starman by originally by David Bowie.

    Great idea @EgonSpengler

This is a wonderful song but I don't like the erratic nature of her singing.

So here is Deine Lakaien with their version.

One of my favourite songs as a kid.
Not as sweet as the original, but far more inspirational given the troubled history of the two nations.
Well done, young Finns! And thank you for your service, Comrade Tractor!

Another of my favourite songs as a kid. Marginally "better" than the original.

Sometimes a band needs money, so they haul out something they can play easily. :)

But then they can also add a lot to a weak original...

Is this one any good? Garbage sort of lost their teeth a few albums ago. I've been very disappointed by their recent efforts.

THIS is the kind of stuff I like to see from Garbage:

Blind Lemon Jefferson was a very good guitarist and inspired writer. But due to the ravages of time his records suffered, I believe Dylan's cover of his masterpiece, from his first album, is more easily accessed.
