Got Lakes?

I wonder how many folk here have tried the Got Lakes? map script. It provides options for extreme randomisation, which can produce some very unexpected and weird maps. One thing it allows is for very large amounts of land to be treated as floodable.

The game engine does not like this much. If you have a city with 20 floodable hexes, constructing a flood barrier costs an amount based on the total number of floodable hexes, even though the flood barrier is only going to be built along the coast. So you may find that the game is telling you that building the flood barrier will take 100+ turns. However, you can just buy it for 160 faith!

Also, when you DO build it, the game refuses to show it.
