    This game was due a couple of days ago and there is no spoiler? Hmm....

    For several months I was too busy to have play time for Civ2. I restarted this week but had to skip finishing 186 and starting 187 and 188. I was dubious whether to start with 189 or 190. Finally I decided to do an OCC for 189. I should be done by early next week.

    With 3 allies out of 4 rivals, things were pretty quiet despite being nominally at war with Zulu. This was also helped by the fact that for most of the time Zulu were fighting someone else as well.
    Main challenge in this period was controlling my key civ. Moderate (being my own key civ) was great; Inadequate was horrible (no blue in the game), and Strong was in-between.

    The ending was quiet as well. I did make some modern combat units just in case my homeland gets invaded but no such thing happened. The only action my units saw was the battleship sinking a barbarian frigate.
    No one else entered the space race. Again the main challenge was keeping the key civ on Moderate.

    I debated about Spaceship or Conquest, but things looked so good at 1AD that I went for Spaceship -this was my very first pre-1000AD landing!!!
