Were any injustices done to other civs? If so, what was done to whom?

Nothing more was done to anyone else.

Can you even build a spaceship in a bloodlust game?

I don't think you can build spaceships in bloodlust, because they would serve no purpose.

Spaceships serve no purpose? That is one of the ways to end the game. It is very rare that I ever engage in combat in Civ which is one of the reasons I love Civ, you can win without combat. It is also the reason I no longer play Civ III. Civ III claims you can win other than Conquest but that is a lie. All the other options of winning in Civ III still demand combat, unlike Civ I & II . If I wanted a combat game I would play Age of Empires!

Of course that was a joke :D

(seriously, I enjoy both early conquest and early landing, but bloodlust is bloodlust : my helmet is ready)

It just made me try and remember if spaceship parts were even allowed. I can't even remember the last time I attempted a Bloodlust game, let alone what changes it does to the game.

IIRC the main features are: no restarts and no SS parts...
but I may well be mistaken.

    What no nicee nicee?

With the Celts and Vikes, there may be a little science pressure, but with the rest -- no.

Wonder if one would be better to go ahead & play with MGE vs classic -- wouldn't want any hesitation with a question of war now would we?

A+ombomb -- Marco's is a favorite early wonder -- as it opens the door for some techs via trading, $$ with alliances, and map exchanges. For this game the maps would be the most valuable.

Uh I didn't ask what marco polo's embassy did, I asked how it is different in this game, since it was specifically mentioned in the story line.

My guess is that our friend DoM destroyed the wonder.

(he knows perfectly well that some of us make good use of Marco, ... and he doesn't want to help us, does he? :D )

You guys burned it down, it is lost. Very careless of you I must say. It is now gone forever (from this game) and cannot be rebuilt. :( ;) :(

Ah, but the UN only requires Philosophy and Industrialization...

Looks like a fun one, Duke. Time to relearn Bloodlust!

Shall we have a race to see who can get their Rep to Atrocious first?

It's not my fault! As you will clearly understand, once you know the facts:

There I was, trying to slog through my turns in the No-Wonder succession game, failing hopelessly at managing two dozen cities, when one of the servants wandered in from the royal garage:

Servant: "Your majesty, where shall we store ye old oily rags?"
My Royalness: "Stick 'em in the Embassy, for all I care. Can't you see I'm BUSY?"

Then it was the royal news carrier, right after I lost my legion, settler, and newly built engineer to a barbarian elephant:
Servant: "Your highness, the old royale newspapers . . . ."
My Soveriegness: "@#$@#%! Can't anyone around here think for themselves?" [Looks out window, sees newly-built, spacious Embassy in Palace front yard where fountain used to be] "Put them in there. Give the dips something to read when they don't have any techs to trade!"

As if my day wasn't going bad enough, with the queen reminding me that it was MY turn to freshen the royal bottom of our offspring, the royal painters have to come in:

Painters: "Your highness, we have much left over turpentine from the royal painting job. What is your desire?"
My poop-soiled exaltedness, struggling with the royal offspring: "*^%#%$ Poor it in the royale fountain." [Forgetting that there is no longer a royal fountain. The royal painters, exercising all the ingenuity of an automated settler, poor the turpentine into the Embassy, where the fountain once was, covering the piles of oily rags and newspapers.]

Then the royal pain-in-the-@$$ brother-in-law Armand the Viking comes to visit and wants to light up in the Palace:
My divine-rightness: "Not in here you don't, mister! Outside with that!"
How was I to know he'd toss his butt through the Embassy window?

Well, we lost the Embassy and lost the world's good opinion. On the plus side, we lost the royal brother-in-law, too. (Vikings none too pleased about this, put them first on the list of targets.)

    -- Xerxes the Xenophobe
