GOTM save game starts

Hi,

Searching thru the GOTM archive site
http://www.civfanatics.com/civ2gotm.shtml
I found plenty of stats for the challenges #1-#18, gr8 charts and comparisons,even players saved games but no starts (4000BC) for these challenges ....

Id like to try a couple of the oldies with OCC, can anyone point to a link to download the original starts?

You can change the forum settings to include all prior threads and look for each game's thread.

I don't believe the start save was included in the earlier .zip archives, but they are inculded with the newer ones (which should be updated in about a week).

Thnx, guess i pressed the new thread button too soon!

After searching the current forum from the beginning, i now see posts do in fact go back prior to June 2002ish hence i presume ill find the earlier challenges threads with their saved starts.

Perhaps a thread of these could be "stuck" so all newcomers could play a turn or 2 (okay maybe even 3,4 or 5 lol ) of old challenges.

Just an idea......
