GPU upgrade help

Hello.

My system is starting to show its age.

Core i3-530
8gb RAM
gt 240

I was just wondering if it would be a worthwhile upgrade to go from a gt240 512mb ddr5 to a Radeon 7730 1gb DDR5???

Thats not a very big step, i would recommend to look for a cheap Radeon 7770. 1 or 2 GB depends on your budget. But it works best with 2 GB and is not that much more costly than the 1 GB version.

I actually just decided to scrap my whole system and get something newer. It was time to get with the times.

Radeon 7770
