Graphic bug? Living resources animations missing

Hi everybody,

Strange thing: the animations of sheep, horses, elephants, cows, pigs - all living resources on land - have no animation. I just see their shadows wandering around! The animations for whales and fish and all "dead-resources" work fine however.

I bought the game in April, patched it with version 1.61 and that's it - no other modifications. The game is on DVD.

I posted this bug earlier already and only got answer from Snoopy (thanks again) but that wouldn't solve the problem. He thought the graphic files would be missing. I cannot believe that - then the error would occur heaps. I also think the data is there. I was busy, but now wanted to start a game again.

So please, anyone any ideas?

The game works fine, it's just weird and limits the pleasure not to see my resources.

Hi. I have the same problem! I run the game on a 20.1 inch monitor(widescreen) and i don t know in what resolution the game starts......Maybe the .ini would need tweaking ?Can anyone help us?
