Dark Sheer or anyone else who knows how to create new civ3 graphics, could you possibly make a picture of a generic airbase?

I think the thread on Apolyton was a good idea. I will make one when I get home today. I am reading these at work now ;) And the Airstrip flc should not take more than 1/2 hour I believe :D

Here is your request of the Airstrip.flc file. Simple 1 direction flc which works thanks to Moeniir's new version of Flicster ;)

Thanks, now I won't have to watch what looks like a carrier sit on land and rock slowly back and forth.

Dark Sheer, I am definately having problems with this graphic. I replaced the old flc with the one you gave me and loaded a save file where I had already built an airbase. As soon as it tried to show the unit, the game froze and I had to ctrl+alt+delete out of it. There shouldn't be any problem, though, should there? The ini file is fine.

Technically speaking the flc should work as Flicster can read it fine.

Just in case, I have created another flc for you using the same graphic (bigger this time ;) ) and this time I make a 1 frame 8 direction flc. I am attaching the file here. Try it out and let me know the result?

Could you put the fighter from your jumpjet unit with this? Or would that be too much for too little?

Wow! Someone manage to dig out this thread! :D

I believe Skywalker has tried it out and it do work with any kind of plane. Of course the only catch is AI will not build it. It can still be used in a scenario if you place them on the map for the AI. ;)

another dig-out... like an awakening of me...
I need to know where to get this file... for civ3 normal...

another thing... have you made any more units dark? do u remember me?

i was always eager of getting good units from you... hope you are still on that line of work
