Graphical Errors with Mods

I've found out that when I'm using my set of mods, I get one of two issues: either I get a lot of map and interface graphical glitches or the leader screen is not animated. How would one go about fixing something like that? If I had to choose one or the other I'd rather just get non-animated leader screens but I'd like to try and fix it if I could too. Thanks.
