Graphics card question

I'm in the market for a new laptop. I do a lot of flying for my job and I like to play a certain game you can probably guess while on the plane. I'm trying to decide between two laptops, one of which has a 1920X1080 display with a GT650M graphics card and the other a 1600X900 with a GT640M. The former is a big price jump, so I wanted to ask, does anyone know if the GT650M can drive Civ V at 1920X1080 with decent fps (or in other words, does anyone have a laptop with this card who plays at that resolution)?

I have a GT 555M that does 1920X1080 (17.5" screen) fairly well (with every option maxed). It is about half as fast as either the GT640M or the GT650M. The GT640M shoud handle 1920X1080, it is just the laptop manufacture paired it with a smaller resolution LCD panel.

My concern with flying is do you have the space to even use a 17" laptop? If space is not an issue, may as well go for the "larger" screen. It also may make a difference if the manufacture is using the DDR3 or the DDR5 memory.
