Is there a way to increase the graphics of Civiliation 3/Play the world? I've noticed on many of the screenshots I see on here, the graphics are alot better then what I get, meaning, the Sea/Ocean/Shore are significantly seperated with colour and texture, and the trees are more graphic, if you look at my screenshots in my "i'm new" thread, you'll see what I mean, compare them to some of the screenies other members have posted, how do I make my graphics look like theirs?

The part you're interested in may be:

KeepRes=1
Can be 0 or 1. If 1, your screen resolution is used for the game instead of the default 1024x768.

Video Mode=1280
Can be 1024, 1152, 1280, 1600, 1792. Changes the game's resolution to the value specified (instead of the default 1024x768).
Only the following resolutions are supported with this command:
1024x768
1152x864
1280x1024
1600x1200
1792x1344

I hope this is the answer you are looking for. I personally have never changed the game's resolution but this is where I would start. Good luck.

the link didn't work, but i'll try changing resolutions, do I change it for the game or my computer at the desktop? if so, i can't do it
