I like that song. Thanks for exposing me to something new. BTW Commodore, I'm the same... I LOVE Taylor Swift... everything that lady makes is my jam... I don't care who knows... come at me... same for Meghan Trainor... seeing my daughter do her dance recital to "Dear Future Husband" had me welling up like a baby ...

Now for a true "guilty pleasure" song... I have to admit to finding "Pumped up Kicks" very enjoyable and catchy... I really had to take a step back and do some soul searching to stop singing/playing that terrible, terrible song. It's so damn catchy, but the message should never, never be repeated. Its so hard to quit that damn catchy song tho.

I also unapologetically love "Sweet Home Alabama", but that's a classic so I don't know if that's a shocker or not, but its a very "proud to be American" kind of song... I probably should soul-search on that one too but eff-that... I love that damn song.

I don't like Taylor Swift at all. Even for a millenial pop star she is quite untalented, imo.
I think that at least that other girl who is (iirc?) 40 but looks 20 has a very good voice (Ariana Grande).
Minaj and Swift... are just celebrity pop stars, not actual musicians imo.

Btw, this is a cool song:

That brings back memories. That was one of the songs I first learned to play on the guitar. My "teacher" (a classmate who had a couple guitars) used it to teach me the "hammer-on" technique.

Although I have to say... I can't hear that song without thinking about Happy Gilmore and the little man waving on the tricycle.

Just for you then, sommer, this used to be a staple with my friends for when we were, erm, past focusing well and didn't want to put on another movie.

    More for myself.

I'm kinda getting weirded out. Like, I know the name, I've seen magazines and such, but after hitting youtube after a couple of those posts, I'm not sure I've ever actually heard a song by her until just now.
