Most do in debates, whether by design or by accident; it's a rather unfortunate side effect of the way the debates are conducted. It would be nice if we had something like VH1's "pop-up video" during debates to let us know when the guy (or chick) speaking is full of it.

However:

The fact that Giuliani actually reads Supreme Court decisions and whatnot before commenting shows that he is a much better candidate than I gave him credit for.

That is a plus. It is pretty obvious that Fred Thompson has no clue about what is going on in the Supreme Court or the courts of his own state.

Well, given the absolute fact that Rudy is the poll leader among the republicans...that answer would be YES.

I just know that if Rudy were to be elected his administration would make Bush/Cheney look like saints. You could kiss whatever privacy rights you have goodbye along with the constitution. It would be a police state on steroids.

When we're evaluating the "worst" Republican candidate(s), should their chance of winning the primary (or kingmaking it) bump up the "worst" factor?

I mean obviously Tancredo is batshiiii but he won't win.

I think it's down to Romney, Giuliani and Thompson for Worst Candidate of this election cycle. Luckily for America, one of those three is guaranteed to win the primaries!
