I'd much rather the see the Deli Creeps get their arses in gear and finally release the posthumous album I'd heard they were supposedly putting together a few years back. Fat chance of that, though :ack:

I think 'Appitite for Distruction' is one of the best rock albums ever made.

After that though Axl rose traded his balls in for a piano. They're music after that just went down hill for me.

I'll be interested to hear they're new stuff, but i'll not buy the album.

Oh yes the new band contributes to the songs. It is a proper band, they write the music and stuff. Axl isn't some sort of Trent Reznor.

And you should hear Buckethead's version of Nightrain. It's insane.

Appetite, will remain one of the greatest rock albums ever cover to cover, but that kind of genious has all been drank away.

Beh, this isn't GnR. Personally, I'm waiting for Velvet Revolver.

No I just really like GnR music since I was a kid. Under Communism we would have had Appetite for Destruction or probably the stereo to play it on. Would have had an appetite waiting in the bread line though.

Eric Clapton? Steve Vai? Joey Satriani? Brian May? Slash?

I used to like GNR a lot, but then Axl went wacko, and now it's just him and a group of wannabees.....

Buckethead is actually a scarily skillful guitarist: Slash isn't even in the same league. All of the members of the current G'n'R line-up have already gained a fair degree of recognition in other (on the whole better) bands, so I wouldn't call them wannabes so much as wannagetpaids ;)

Slash was cool, but he couldn't hold a candle to Mr. Slow Hand, Jimmy, Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, or Edward Van Halen.

As far as I'm concerned, Slash wasn't the key ingredient in GNR. Izzy Stradlin was. Slash made the band cool. Axl made them dangerous. Izzy made it into music. Individually, they're quite worthless. Together they were like Mick Jagger & Keith Richards. They could have been the next Rolling Stones!

I will buy it if the musicians are phenomenal. I'll buy it if they can make me wake up in the middle of the night, power up my Marshall, take up my stratocaster, and jam for several hours.

Keyboard: Dizzy Reed - Guns N' Roses :p

Lead: Buckethead - Like Ek said, he's rather good. Deli Creeps, Praxis.

Lead:Robin Finck - Nine Inch Nails

Rhythmn: Ric Fortus - Psychedelic Furs

Drums: Brian 'Brain' Mantia - Primus, Praxis

    Chris Pittman: The Replicants

Talented bunch, definitely not wannabes. :yeah:

Axl and a bunch of hired alternative rejects are going to make another appetite? No chance. Axl is probably stuck in 1995 when NIN and Tool was still edgy.
