Hacked Steam accounts spreading Remote Access Trojan

As often with computer security issues, the most problematic security breach is located in the "Chair to Keyboard Interface".

Nobody should ever blindly click a link, especially if it come from someone you've never heard of. Of course, if one of your friend's account have been hacked, it's slightly worse. However, even when it comes from a friend, a message, chat, e-mail, whatever that gives me a link without some text to clearly explain why they send me a link goes to /dev/null (and i don't consider "watch this, it's fun" a clear text). My family finally understood that i don't even read those forwarded mails with links to "cool pics".

As for "software update", when i get some "update your flash plugin" message, i open a new tab and head to adobe's download page. This alone will avoid you more viruses than any anti malware software.
