no error message

was playing random map so i dont know how repeatable it is
but i wanted to click on the civilapedia button on top left and i crashed to desktop

note in a random map after this game i didnt crash so it may have been a 1 time deal

Had several crashes for no apparent reason. No error messages. Game ceases to respond intermittantly, particularly in Scenario 2: Rise of Rome.

Later!

ok the same crash keeps happening no error message
just drops out to desktop .. and this is a random map

Do you have a save that will always do it? If so make sure that Firaxis gets it. If not, I doubt that they can fix it.

I Have a save that always stops responding but doens't chrash to desktop,
Netherlands, Huge Random map, time = 860
even all the previous save's chrash at this moment

EDIT: the time is a.d.
-Use Windows xp
-Have uploaded a file called something like autosave
Belgium 860 ad

I have had about 5 crashes now and I only have the game a week, played about 7 games. It completely ends C3C and ends on my desktop. I most often get this when pressing F3.

I haven't had it sufficiently, but it seems that it happens after some 3 or 4 hours playing and more often when I load a game (I save / load when I go to bed, to work or dinner).

PTW never did this and neither did Vanilla.

I use Win XP.

Can you say where exactly you're clicking? (i.e., a specific pixel, like, 3 pixels from the top of the civilopedia icon in the top-left part of the screen).

Or, just submit a screenshot and circle where you're clicking when it crashes.

If this is the problem where C3C hangs and a box pops up complaining that C3C is unable to allocate a draw buffer, then I believe that this is a problem with a memory leak. I've noticed that even with a small scenario, C3C starts eating up more and more memory as it runs, eventually crashing when it is up to 300+ MB of virtual memory (on my 512MB system).

I am not clicking anywhere it stops responding after i end the turn ! :(
majbe that will lighten things up a bit ...
