I think it's time we take a break from the politics to celebrate that glorious aspect of the human body, hair! :D Love it or hate it, hair has been sculpted, fried, colored and shaped in myriad ways over the course of human history. Whether you love someone's style or think it's ridiculous, you've got to admire the artistry put into creating some of the incredible and awe-inspiring styles humans have worn on their heads.

A few of my favorite styles follow below.
Spoiler :

The Supremes:

'80s Japanese pop singer Seiko Matsuda:

Legendary Japanese speed metal band X Japan:

Equally legendary Japanese erotic-grotesque visual rock band Dir en grey (yes, those are men):

Marie Antoinette (who, by the way, never said "let them eat cake"):

Grace Slick of Jefferson Airplane:

Psychobilly band Demented Are Go:

The phenomenal deathhawk of DJane Darlin' Grave of deathrock band All Gone Dead:

Rappers Kid 'n' Play, with their hi-top fades:

Hair truly deserving of $400!

When a 15 year old white kid walks into your class at the first day of Highschool with a huuuge afro and a 10cm goatee.. you kinda stop being impressed by other stuff..

Really?

I had blue dreads when I was 13.

When you walk through the center of Bucharest and you see 20 incredibly tall guys (with no heels or anything) that have afros bigger than twice the size of their head, died bright red and 30 centimeter long beards (died either red or dark green) giving you flyers and trying to convince you to go to a concert, you kinda stop being impressed by other stuff. :p

I think putting any effort into making hair look good is a waste of time.

I do it for fun, for art and as a way of showing my identity, not out of any perceived necessity.

When the moon is in the Seventh House
And Jupiter aligns with Mars
Then peace will guide the planets
And love will steer the stars

This is the dawning of the age of Aquarius
The age of Aquarius
Aquarius!
Aquarius!

What a fantastic musical that was. And the movie was great too.

We starve-look
At one another
Short of breath
Walking proudly in our winter coats
Wearing smells from laboratories
Facing a dying nation
Of moving paper fantasy
Listening for the new told lies
With supreme visions of lonely tunes

Let the sunshine
Let the sunshine in
The sunshine in!
Let the sunshine
Let the sunshine in
The sunshine in!

God damn' how the current American youth cannot be sensitive to the powerful emotions of such a fantastic piece of Art! It's your own country's creation for god sake!

I have fashion deficit disorder. :(

 She looks like a hammerhead shark or something.

Hair that never moves! It's the immovable object!

But hey, if I looked like that at 60....
