Hall of Fame Mod

Hi all,

I wasn't sure whether or not to put this question on the "Civ 4 General Discussion" forum, but I like to spend time being a better player when I can, and I wonder....should I use the Hall of Fame mod even though I am in the learning phase of this game? I am just a lowly casual player, mind you.

Why should (or shouldn't) I use the HoF mod? It does change the gameplay of Beyond the Sword v3.13, doesn't it? I usually play v3.13 with Bhruic's v1.11 patch for my casual play.

When a new patch comes out for the game, I always wait for an updated HOF mod before upgrading as I can't live without the features it brings...mostly the growth/sickness/unhappiness reminders.

I've also never submitted a HOF game. If the features are useful to you, there's absolutely no harm in using it and Bhruic's patch is a part of the HOF mod now anyway.
