What do you guys think of the new game Bungie's coming out with? How about forge world, or forge itself? The campaign? New weapons, vehicles, and of course fighting the Elites again?

Although my friend is incredibly excited for it. He is, as I found out a massive Halo nerd and is waiting for something he sent to Bungie to be returned with all of their signatures.

I loved The Fall of Reach, best book in the halo universe. I don't have a 360, so I probably won't be buying it though.

I do not have any console nor do I have a TV. I played a bit of Halo 2 with other people in Grade 11 between rehearsals for the school musical but that was it. It was fun but I have no real interest in the series, though I am a fan of Bungie I care little for Halo.

I haven't been interested in a Halo game since number 2 came out, and even that one got really old really quick.

I wouldnt mind playing the campaign, I'm partial to sci-fi and like the Halo storyline but leave me out of the online part. Xbox Live, you make online gaming suck.

Though I won't be buying it when it comes out - my money this fall has been claimed by Civilization V.

Wow. This is not the response I was expecting AT ALL. I personally love first person shooters, the only game made by Bungie that is worthwhile has to be the Halo genre, and the campaign will be cool until your done on legendary, then I will have to switch to X-box Live, which I enjoy emmensly, especially in Halo 3. I do agree on one thing: Halo the Fall of Reach was the best book in the Halo series. I've read it multiple times.

lol, almost exactly what I was going to say, to the word.

Each Halo game seems to be more or less exactly the same as the previous one, is on a single console, you can't use a mouse (exception being Combat Evolved and I guess Halo 2 though I do not know of anyone who has played H2 on the PC), they are in comparison to PC FPS games pretty run of the mill and mediocre game mechanics in terms of realism (that sentence may sound better in my head but I think you get the point), etc.

Nothing wrong with liking it, but its greatness is hugely blown out of proportion.

I love FPS games too though (preferably on the PC).

Ok, ok. I'll shut up. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion (my opinion is that you people have terribly flawed opinions) but no matter. Everyone can be themselves. I happen to like the Halo series and can't wait for Reach to come out.
