Handwriting

Caligraphy is an art that has mostly died sadly. But typing instead of writting has its benefits too: we now focus more (inevitably) on what we actually are writting rather than the writting of it itself. As a writer i have noticed many differences: when i used to handwrite it took me roughly twice as much time to write a page by hand, than it does to write it on the computer. At first i was very irritated by the constant consciousness of the fact that i was facing a computer screen when writting, but with time that consciousness faded away.
But ofcourse a notebook always has a special significance. It is far more personal than a printed page. But in the end i would have to print everything anyway (infact i still havent managed to copy to the computer word processor some of my larger handwritten texts...)
