So during my latest game while studying some of the numbers of my empire at the end, mostly for personal notes and comparisons, I noticed something odd in the happiness details, I had a negative number of unhapiness from population. I could find no explanation for this number, even with Forbidden Palace and Meritocracy (and no wasn't playing as Ghandi).
Anyway I played on a few turns past victory just to try and figure out what cause this with no luck the number changed radically every few turns, I attached 2 screenshots to the post, one showing the negative hapiness and the other from a few turns later with it being up to ~38.
Now I get that citizens working as specialist don't count towards this number, but Amsterdam alone worked every single tile, and in total all non-puppeted cities worked about 80 tiles. Is it posible some social policies instead of giving extra hapiness actually just reduces the unhapiness generated? Like Millitary Caste or Proffesional Army?
