I curious. What are the traditions that exist in the celebrations of the Chinese New Year? I'm not Chinese! But love Oriental Culture.

It is true that everybody have a birthday in the same day, on one of the days of festivities?
Why the red lamps, what does it means?

Yes, that's the 7th day of the Chinese New Year. It's an extra birthday for everyone.

Why the red lamps, what does it means?

Red is associated with good fortune in China. Red lamps is not particularly related to Chinese New Year though - they have more importance in other Chinese festivals.

But for now, have great new year and greater Olympic one...
