Harring report: July 2007: 15,000 Total US deaths

What the HELL ??? This report has popped up a few times in blogs so I had a check of the site it claims the US is fudging the casualties count. By its estimate the US have 65.000 causalties with 15,000 dead.

Can Mobboss or someone explain to me how the MATS system work and how the handling of bodies works? Cause if they claim the next of kin are informed then the solider should be listed and it would be easy to varify if any US dead are not listed offically. Publicly showning the soliders name and KIA details (Note Harring claimns to have a list doing just this totalling the dead being for more then those listed offically. seems fantasic to me)

On the one hand the example cited was the attack on camp Falcon which should easy to disprove on the other hand the US during ww2 did sit on the news of high causalties caused by German Eboats for Dday training because it would affect moral.

This original listing showed that as of mid-2005, the death count in both Iraq and Afghanistan topped 10,000 with 20,000 seriously wounded. By 2007, the death toll has risen to over 15,000 (and rising daily) with officially reported serious woundings (required out of theater hospitalization) at 50,508 as per a report published in the New York Times of January 30, 2007.

4. The names of some of the dead are then posted on the official website of the Department of Defense but the numbers of these publicly posted dead are much smaller than the numbers of the actual dead. The families are duly notified but not all names are made public.

I don't think the death tolls are fudged, as it has become increasingly difficult to do such a thing, but of course the public isn't going to be privy to all of the information. Sometimes I think that we expect to be told too much.

This website isn't credible. Let's see....some other interesting bits - US "Pro-surge' group is almost all Jewish. Bush - in the footsteps of Napoleon. And so on, and so forth.

A credible link to a story saying this would be much appreciated. This source amounts to "I say its true, so it is! And I have documents proving it! But I won't put them online for you to see them! Oh, and yes, the US government is competent enough to hide the 11,000 extra deaths of US troops, but it isn't competent enough to successfully occupy Iraq."

I confess, I'm still looking for the bit that says President Bush had the WTC demolished by "crack Jewish CIA agents". I wouldn't be too surprised to find it there.

Here is one 'claim' about who this 'Brian Harring' character is.....

I have done a lot of research on "Brian Harring", which is an aka for "Peter Stahl", "Walter Storch", "Gregory Douglas", and other names. "Harring" is a crank who writes trash and attributes it to others (such as me, in this case) for revenge. Under the name of "Douglas", he produced a set of fraudulent books called "Gestapo Chief", and forged some "CIA" documents in the books. He has had a prolific career as a counterfit artist, art forger, and Holocaust revisionist. Google any of the above names and you will learn all about this crank.

There is a real Brian Harring, who had a run-in with this fraud in the past, so the fraud is trashing the real Brian Harring in much the same way he is attempting to trash me.

I expect this crank will attempt some other sleazy method of harrassing me, but I do not particularly care, as I have more important things to do than respond to him again and again.

A collegue of mine and I have done a good deal of mathematical forensics on the fraudulent "Gestapo Chief" books, because they are being supported by a New Mexico State University faculty member, which gives them authenticity in the eyes of a casual reader. We want to set the historical record straight so that years from now, the garbage presented as history in "Gestapo Chief" will have no chance of being accepted as what really happened in World War II. We expect to publish the results of our research in an intelligence journal as well as a math or statistics journal.

That is a problem. Doesn't happen on this forum as much as it did in the past, but in many forums the attitude is: "It's in this book so it must be true!" or "See, it's posted in all these blogs, so it is obviously true!".

Admittedly, I don't have concrete proof that Brian Herring = Gregory Douglas (the quote I got from another site could have been BS), but it does make alot of sense....

That was the Falcon base bombing. I read the rebuttes to this a well as what he presented as proof that the US are covering up deaths. Aparently the scource cited was Iraqi minister and Iraq's though some are suggesting hes a pro sunni anti-american with links to the insugency. The other was soliders whom were confined indoors saying how lucky there were that the explosion caused no casualties since it was at night had it been in the daytime it would have been another story.

Then theres the list which seems authentic but the names are really weird. People comment it came from a jihardie site and is "faked"
