Has anybody figured out which files govern civ2 AIs?

I was wondering if its possible to track down which files dictate the behavior of AIs in the game, I'm playing classic civ2 2.78. My problem is, I want to play on large maps, without population/unit/money limitations, like the so called giga-world, but it only works under MGE.

So I thought maybe it's possible to incorporate classic civ2 AI into MGE?
My main objection with MGE is the horribly screwed up AI, which is permanently hostile. I like diplomatic games where I can manipulate AIs to fight each other or give me something, but MGE limits that to only one turn, but the next time you talk to any other civ, their attitude is automatically set at 100% dislike towards me, and I have to gift them all over again to achieve anything. In classic civ it doesnt take much to be liked and the attidue can remain the same for many turns.

Maybe there is a program to modify the executable, like the no-limit patch for MGE or ToT? I really want to play some MGE exclusive scenarios or simply random extremely large maps, but so far the AI in MGE successfully discourages me.
