My friends and I keep trying to play MP games together and around 1500ad, the game keeps reloading and eventually outright freezing. How can we fix this? We want to finish a game.

yea, people do. when its not with friends, oftentimes ppl will quit during the duration of the game, as a result of losing cities or a bad start. however, games will still generally each renaissance age regardless. the reloading isn't a problem, civ V just does it once in a while, shouldnt impact gameplay too much.

Dude, I tank every setting by default because, with my eye, it doesn't matter anyway. We're still getting those reloads that turn into game crashes. We've tried hosting on different computers even.

Let someone else host, maybe youre not meant to be a host, some ppl arent, only a few are the chosen
