Has anyone ever seen this before?

An Arabian Infantry without City Garrison+Drill

Is this a glitch? I was thinking maybe when you gift a city to your vassal and it spawns some protection units in that city, maybe those units aren't affected by traits, but Saladin had no vassals nor was vassaled by anyone. The only other way I could think this would happen is if the ai gifted a unit to Saladin which I don't think they can.

Actually nevermind, it was probably a warrior or some melee unit that got upgraded all the way to infantry, just thought of that xd
