I will only get my hands on a graphics card on thursday, since mine got fried yesterday (just my luck). So I was wondering whether anyone has actually tried Civ 5 on an integrated graphics solution (i.e. Intel GMA, X3100, Radeon 3200, NVidia 6150, etc).

Yeah, I tried the demo on my Intel 4500MHD, and it does run on lowest graphics settings. It is a bit choppy, but still playable.

A friend of mine can't get it to run on her Intel mobile chipset. Not sure which one it actually is, but I think it's almost two years old.

Thank you for the feedback.

This is good to know. At least I'll be able to play the demo when I get home and get a general idea of it. :) I hope my card arrives before thursday, though.

I'm using a HP Pavilion 3gb ram AMD Phenom CPU tri-core 2.2 GHz
Integrated graphics using nVidia GeForce 6150SE

The game runs, but slow and choppy

I have a GeForce 8800 ultra 768mb on its way to me that SHOULD make a difference

I have Nvidia9200 on board graphics and the demo runs perfectly at medium settings.

I am running full game on a geforce 8200, no problems just running it on directx9.

yep

nvidia quadro nvs 160m here, and it's playable
not pretty
but playable

running on Radeon 3100. On lowest settings, and crashing every 15 minutes or so.

Works for me with the Radeon 3200. Dx9 version with settings set to medium. I’ll need to play with it some more this evening after work to see if I can get it to run in Dx10/11.

Integrated Radeon 4200 (785G w/ 128MB DDR3 Sideport) DX9 - Medium & DX10 - Low/medium split settings. Runs alright in early game (only did a 50 turn test run @ Large + Standard Length).
