Have you been bitten by a Civ3 Bug?

Was just reading about the "Two Russias" bug and had an odd thought. For various reasons, I still haven't patched - and since I have only played about five games all the way through to a point where enemy bombers are a problem, this hasn't been too upsetting.

But what's strange is that I haven't encountered a bug in any circumstances whatsoever, save for the no fighter interception thing. So I just wanted to see - and to show any Firaxians - what the actual incidence of bugs was post patch.

It's strange and ironic. There is so much about Civ III that is lame, slapped together, and doesn't work well. But most of the bugs I read about I've never encountered. Go figure.

Last night my game stopped moving from unit to unit after a unit finished its moves. Had to just stop playing and put the destruction of "Middle France" on hold for a couple of days.

I know the problem was some of you Joan of Arc fans who were reading about the Iroquois war against the evil French in Death of an Empire and decided to save her by somehow placing a virus on my system

Actually it was probably my computer telling me to stop playing and spend some quality time with the family

Odd. The version of this thread that I accidently filed w/out the poll seems to have more interest than the version with it.

I read the one with the poll but did not experience any "bugs" until my little episode last night, which I really think was a fickle computer. This was just the first one I saw today.
