Have you ever broken one of the AIs?

I had yesterday off so I spent most of the day playing Civ 7. I was Benjamin Franklin, as Carthage. I was in the middle of a continent and I had Amina on my left side. She had 3 costal settlements and I built 3 settlements in kind of a large triangle. I left a little space because I would otherwise make a city-state hostile due to being to close. Amina decided to build a settlement right in the middle of my 3 settlements. I got annoyed and I went back to an autosave and changed the direction I grew 2 of the towns so she could not do this. Her settler kept just moving in circles, totally confused. Amina didn't build another settlement, the whole age, even though we were only a third through the age and there were a ton of areas to build, yet.

Back a couple of patches ago, something similar: Hatshepset sent a settler in the same direction that I had a settler going towards a nice coastal spot (which turned out much later to be on the coast closest to the nearest Distant Lands in Exploration). My settler got there first, so hers turned around, wandered the desert for several turns, and then settled in the Worst Possible Spot: waterless, no resources, no coastal access, and right between two hostile IPs!

Her settlement was wiped out by them within 10 turns.

That was her third settlement, and at the end of the Age she still had only two - as if the single failure made her abandon the game . . .

I had a map where both AIs started off in choke-pointed positions where between forward settling, and them declaring an early war on me (which went extremely badly for them) I locked them into positions where they could only fit their capital. It was a very strange autopilot antiquity age.

I had an Africa-like Homelands map, where I spawned in Chad/Niger and Isabella spawned in Mozambique, next to Everest. Everest and a navigable river choked her capital which hampered her start. I forward settled to keep her down in the peninsula and then wiped her out with relative ease before the age ended. (Ben Franklin spawned in the far left corner, near Morocco, but focused on settling two small islands off the coast for some reason - new Continents and Islands map script).
