Anyways, I've shaken hands with the first Imam in Sweden.

That's about all that I can think of... I mean I met much more famous people than thoss (which doesn't really impress me) but rarely shook hands with them.

But as far as simple handshakes, Colin Powell, George RR Martin, Fred Thompson, Robin Ventura. And really drawing a blank after this. Been up close to a number of celebs, but actual, proper meetings? Not too often.

Aubrey de Grey is about the only semi-famous person I've shaken hands with.

I have had Jimmy Carter watch me play croquet though, which I feel makes up for my lack of celebrity palm.

Oh god no.

I consider very few famous people to be worth shaking hands with, and those few, I would never approach, even if the opportunity came.

I will show them the same courtesy I would expect if I were in their shoes (to be left alone).
