Yeah, I agree that vanilla HoI2 isn't very realistic. I had the USA allying with me in 1941 (as Germany) to help me finish off the USSR - which had the side effect of the USA overunning Canada, the Carribiean and New Zealand, then annexing them. Very strange.

when you allied the USA they auto-declared war on all your enemies, most likely including the allies so thats not so strange

I'm playing HoI2 for about 2 months. The bad side is that I never played CIV since.

sirtommygunn, I know that. I just doubt the historical chances of FDR deciding that he prefered me (-5 relations) to Churchill & Co (+190 relations) exp. before this, he had been increasingly belligerant towards me.
