iron maiden is a pretty good rock band, but I wouldn't really consider it to be metal - something like Rings of Saturn, Whitechapel, Cattle Decapitation or Krisiun would be a better fit for the genre

I don't think there should be any questions about Iron Maiden, who are one of the most important bands.
