Ok with kobayashi and Bebros help on getting a Gif editer I downloaded one and was able to Take the Units Case sent and Put them In my Unit files in the game.A giant leep for me:crazyeyes .Now all I have to do Is learn how to take my Unit file and change it to a Pic and put it on this tread I am making progress Thanks everybody

BTW, to get attached pictures to show up in your posts you need to save them in a non-bitmap format (I use gifs)

Ah, the frustration of finding good aircraft images. Don't I know that one? Yep, I do. Well, great thing that you found some.

I am currently working on (using the Fas site mentioned earlier in this thread) a large (well over 150 pictures selected so far I believe, though I don't have so many conversions done) collection of photo-realistic (or as close as I can get) air units, from the earliest days of flight right until now, and the future (eg, F-22, F-35, Mig-35, so on, as well as concept pictures of units). When I can't find a decent color picture, I take good art, or a picture of a scaled model, or a 3d model. That might be helpful in the future for your needs on that.

If anyone could point out good sites for color picture/art of earlier planes (eg, those what were phased out of service before the eighties, especially early jets and World Wars planes) I'd be very glad. FAS provide good coverage for jets more recent than that, but it'd be nice to have them all...

I only have a few units done to Civ II format (lots of picture to alter, though) - and I have yet to incorporate them in an actual unit file - but as soon as I have enough to make an actual set of unit, I'll send it up to you.

So far I have :

A-4 Skyhawk (though I really could use a better base pic)
AV-8 Harrier
C-130 Hercules (I actually had an idea for a scenario using transport planes - I might do it once all my pictures are done)
C-141 Starlifter
C-17 Globemaster III
ABL - an anti-missile laser-armed plane project. Airborne Aegis style unit, perhaps.
B-1B
B-52H
B-2

It's not taking too much time a unit, so you might get to see a picture a few days from now, especially with the lightweight schedule I have at university.
