Help Audio Problems

I Cant Hear Voice Narrator at all. The music is fine but i cant hear any voice acting at all

I have the same issue. The bitrate fix had not impact. It's just the narrator and leaders audio, in other words, only spoken dialog.

Well, I figured it out. Wasnt complicated and... You owe me. Go to your audio/playback devices (right click on the speaker) select configure. Right click on the speaker and/or select configure speakers. You'll probably find you are ay 5.1 or 7.1 when you are likely using a stereo setup. Don't ask why this had only been an issue for you/me until nite. Guess the audio for this game really is that awesome that it actively uses surround mixing. Hope I saved the day.

Yeah, Civ VI is pretty active in the surrounds on a 5.1 or 7.1 setup. Even the menu music is mixed for surround.
