I am playing the GOTM and its only my second game on deity level. I have noticed that no matter what level of science I have (10 into research or just 2) it takes the same amount of time to research monarchy. What is going on here? Is this the way it works on Deity or is my game messed up?

Odds are you've hit the minimum research cap of forty turns. If not, then I have no idea, though I say go for the 2 science
