help - how do i install scenarios?

I just got hold of Civ II ToT and want to install some WWII scenarios :

1. Where do I get these from?

2. How do i install them?

3. If I have to download them from this site is it virus protected?

1-u can find WW2 ToT scenarios on this site Modern scenario Civ2 download section, one or two on the site "The Cradle of Civilization" ( http://coc.apolyton.net/ ) and one on my web page Eyn's World ( http://www.multimania.com/eyn ) but this last multimania.com is out of order today

a-first u need to have patched ToT to version 1.1
b-make a backup of the "original" folder of your ToT directory (copy/paste) then in the "original" folder delete all *.spr and *img.bmp files
c-make a folder for each scenarios in your Civ ToT directory, then unzip them in these folder

3 - theoretically no. However, the chance of getting a virus is statistically insignificant as civ scenario zips are not exactly something that are popular. Virus writing freaks like to choose common files as their vessels of havoc. Just do not open any word files using MS word, use word pad just to be safe.
