Help installing mobo into computer...

some motherboards should also have a "Choose Boot Device option". If yours does, you can select that and then select the disc drive you're using to boot from.

You place the windows cd in the optical drive and boot off that drive. If it doesn't give you that option, than you go into the bios and set the optical drive as first boot device.

Okay, I got the boot device working, and I now have Vista installed and working on my computer! Hurray! I have successfully built my own computer, and everything works!

EDIT: I just found out that the wireless network adapter I use doesn't have 64-bit drivers...

So anyone know of a Vista 64-Bit Wireless Network Adapter? Right now I have a Linksys Compact Wireless-G USB Adapter, but Linksys doesn't make 64-bit drivers. Preferable another USB adapter, I prefer to simply plug it in and use it rather then having to install it in the computer. Downloadable drivers are okay as well, since I can DL it on another computer and just transfer the drivers over on a flash drive.

Oh sweet! So are these third-party drivers then? Doesn't really matter, just curious, since the official site didn't have any. Thanks a lot!

As long as the driver has the Microsoft signature certification on it, then it shouldn't do anything destructive to your components.
