Help me to choose new mod to play

Hello all,

I am trying to choose good mod to play CIV4 in Multiplayer with 2 more people. So far we played Realism Invictus which is really amazing, we tried Caveman2Cosmos, but somehow it feels too much (maybe i am wrong).

Right now what picked up my attention is Rise of Mankind, so I am wondering how that is when compared to Realism Invictus ?

Also I am not sure, what is difference between Rise of Mankind (https://forums.civfanatics.com/resources/bts-rise-of-mankind-v2-91.9301/) and Rise of Mankind: A New Dawn (https://forums.civfanatics.com/forums/rise-of-mankind-a-new-dawn.369/)

Can someone who played both mods and maybe something else that is similar give me feedback ?

First ROM is very old original mod, that wasn't touched for long time.
ROM: AND is expansion of ROM, that is still maintained.

By the way C2C has roots in ROM:AND too, they split 12 years ago or so.
