I feel currently a little bit desperate. I tried to fix an issue with Civ 4 colonization. We have adopted the whare ressource into our Mod RaR/WTP a long time ago. However, it seems that the ressource never worked like in Civ 4 vanilla. The effect (water splash and spray) of the whale when je jumps out and into the water does not work in Civ 4 colonization irrespective that the files have not been changed and it uses the same engine:
I have already checked a possible effects, shared files which might not be in the ressource folder etc. I have no idea why the splash and spray of the whale does not show up ingame.
I would really appreciate if one - presumably one who knows nifskope/nif format very well - can help me out and explain how this might work so that I can identify - beside the ressource files - which files I maybe need or what I need to change to make it work in Civ 4 Colonization.
