help on old question

I had my civ 4 "borrowed" permanently from me. To play warlords I bought a new copy and installed. no problems playing except i am being deluged by autosaves - how do i turn those off - used to know but cant remember. thanks.

There is a setting in the .ini file to select how many turns you want to pass before it autosaves. If you were to put this to 0 it would stop autosaving all together.

The ini file is located in C:\Documents and Settings\"Whatever your windows profile name is"\My Documents\My Games\Warlords\CivilizationIV.ini

change AutoSaveInterval = 4 to AutoSaveInterval = 0
